Greetings and welcome to our official website!
It is my privilege to serve as President of these Resourceful-Noteworthy-Optimistic women as we embark on this journey of Exemplifying Excellence Through Sustainable Service. Our website will provide you with an overview of Rho Nu Omega Chapter’s history, leadership, upcoming and past events, and service activities. We invite you to explore and gain a greater understanding of who we are and what we do.
Rho Nu Omega chapter was chartered on November 26, 1988, by a group of revolutionary women who sought to expand the brand of Alpha Kappa Alpha as THE premiere service organization to the Korean peninsula. Although we are considered a small chapter, in the smallest region of our illustrious organization, we continuously find impactful ways to reach our program and initiative goals. We have and will continue to conduct activities that create opportunities for success with particular focuses in the areas of: HBCU For Life: A Call to Action, Women's Health and Wellness, Building Your Economic Legacy, The Arts!, and Global Impact.
As members of the International Region it is our goal to not only find innovative ways to serve in our host country, but also extend our influence of love globally. In recent years, we’ve had the opportunity to positively affect lives and change abroad in the United States, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Haiti and Philippines.
We appreciate and welcome your continuous interest and support, from the Korean peninsula and around the world. We recognize that without your support, Rho Nu Omega’s reach would be limited.
